Hospital Visitation

About this Ministry
One of the most vulnerable times in a person's life is when they are hospitalized. The Hospital Visitation is available to pray with individuals and/ or their families, and to read the Bible with them. But they also represent a friendly face from the church, someone to sit and talk with, a comforting presence during what can be a difficult time.

Ministry Team
A team of both pastors and volunteers make up the Hospital Visitation Team. Each volunteer has received basic training in the dos and don'ts of hospital visits, and are joined by a pastor on their first few visits. This provides them an opportunity to learn the basics while someone else is with them. After that point a pastor contacts the volunteer on a regular basis to see how they are doing and what resources they might need. The volunteers provide an invaluable assistance to the pastors in allowing us to see more people, and in helping that people are seen more often by members of the church.

    If you or someone you know is going to be hospitalized and you (or them) would like to be visited by our Hospital Visitation Team please contact us and we will put your name on the "Hospital Visitation List." We will visit any member, regular visitor, or their family and friends when they are hospitalized at any hospital in Miami-Dade County.
