Our Values

We value preaching.
Our preaching will be drawn from the scripture and it will be Christ centered. Our intention is that we will meet people where they are and move them deeper into their relationship with Christ through preaching that is relevant and has application to their lives.

We value prayer.

Prayer will always be an important part of our worship. Our prayers will be centered on God and His goodness to us in Christ. Our prayers will focus on our adoring Him as our God, showing our need of Him through confession of our sin, praising Him for His wonderful grace, thanking Him for all His goodness towards us. We will pray for one another, our church, our nation and the world, especially the advance of the gospel and the kingdom.

We value fellowship.

An important part of worship is the fellowship of the people of God gathered. Fellowship is about connecting with one another. It’s about living life, having fun, enjoying what God is doing in our lives, and growing together no matter what life throws at us. The truth is we need one another. We desire to develop a sense of community where all feel welcomed. We invite you to come as you are.

We value music.

We worship God through many different musical forms and styles. It is our desire that the music be relevant to our culture, excellent and engages all that gather in intimate fellowship with God.

We value relationships.

“Real people sharing new life” is also about building and growing our relationships with God and one another. We offer many different types of groups where this happens, but we recognize that this most effectively takes place in a small group discipleship context.

We value service.

God’s design is that we be a blessing to one another and the world around us. As we serve others we become a part of what God is doing in the world, and we come to understand the grace and the mercy of God in our lives.

We value discipleship.

God’s design is that we become like Christ. We enter into relationships where we learn from others, become accountable in our weaknesses, and grow in Christian character.

We value outreach.

God has placed us in the midst of a dying world to share this new life with others. This happens when real people share what Christ has done in their lives, and others are able to see what new life looks like in a loving and caring community.
