HAVEN HUB
Haven Student Parent Resources
“Haven has impacted my life in so many ways. It has given me friendships and a group of people who have my back and support me through all the struggles that life throws at me. Most importantly, however, is how it brought me to accepting Christ this year. Haven is so much more than a building at a church, it’s a place that you will feel loved, accepted, cared for, and a place that brings you close to God in ways I could have never imagined.” - Mackenna (8th grade)

Check out what we’re learning about in Haven!
Our Sunday School lesson for this week is based off of Romans 8:1-17.
Verse of the Week:
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” —Romans 8:1Here are a few questions you can ask your kids to help engage with them throughout the week:
What is it like to live knowing that you are not condemned? Do you ever forget this amazing promise?
In what ways is your family a small (and imperfect) picture of God’s bigger family? What are things you do well? What are things you can do better?
As a family, talk about ways that God has treated each of you as His son or daughter. In return, what does it look like for you to treat Him as your Father?
Main Takeaway:
The Holy Spirit changes everything. When the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you, you are forever transformed. By the Spirit, you are given a new outlook, a new mindset, a new life, and best of all, a new identity: beloved child of God.

We're here to come alongside you as you disciple your children!
Here is one resource that might be helpful to you this week:
“The Doctrine of Justification – Parent Prompt”
This short guide from the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (CPYU) helps parents and teens explore one of the most important truths of the Christian faith: that we are made right with God not by what we do, but by what Jesus has done for us. It beautifully reinforces what students are learning in youth group about grace, identity, and resting in Christ’s finished work.Use it as a simple way to spark conversation at home and “take your student’s spiritual temperature.” The included questions invite honest reflection about where your teen feels pressure to perform and how the gospel frees them to live in joyful confidence before God.
The Haven team and I hope and pray that this helps you as you disciple your students. Remember, we are here for you and your kids. Please feel free to reach out if you're facing any challenges.
