  • Check out what we’re learning about in Haven!

Our Sunday School lesson for this week is based off of Ephesians 3:14-21.

    Verse of the Week:

"So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faithβ€”that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19

Here are a few questions you can ask your students to help engage with them throughout the week:

    1. In what ways has this passage challenged or encouraged how you pray for others?

    2. How might our prayers change as we grow in our understanding of the authority and power of God?

    3. Now consider the four prayer requests Paul has for the Ephesians. Spend some time praying these requests over you and your family.

    Main Takeaway:

The love of Christ is beyond measure and the power of God is beyond imagination.

  • We're here to come alongside you as you disciple your children!

Here is one resource that might be helpful to you this week:

    πŸ“š Eric’s Book Recommendation!

This week, Eric is recommending Discipleship in a Post-Christian Age! It is a timely and thought-provoking book that helps us think about what it really means to follow Jesus in today’s culture. In a world where faith is no longer the β€œdefault,” this book challenges both parents and students to pursue a deeper, more intentional discipleship; one that engages the mind, imagination, and everyday life.

Drawing on insights from C.S. Lewis, the book encourages believers to move beyond a shallow, comfort-based faith and instead cultivate a resilient, thoughtful, and Christ-centered life.

If you’ve ever wondered how to help your student navigate faith in an increasingly secular world, this is a great resource to help you think through those conversations and model a faith that is both rooted and compelling!

The Haven team hopes and prays that this helps you as you disciple your students. Remember, we are here for you and your kids. Please feel free to reach out if you're facing any challenges.
