  • Check out what we’re learning about in Haven!

Our Sunday School lesson for this week is based off of Ephesians 5:15-6:9.

    Verse of the Week:

"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16

Here are a few questions you can ask your students to help engage with them throughout the week:

    1. Are there any relationships in your life that are not informed by your relationship with Christ? What do you need to do to transform those relationships to keep Christ at the center? Who is someone you can invite to support and encourage you as you do this?

    2. Were any commands listed in this passage hard or challenging for you? Why do you think that is? Walk through why they were hard, and encourage your student to pray about it and listen for what the Holy Spirit has to say to them.

    Main Takeaway:

The gospel changes everything about the life of the believer. No longer do we walk as unwise, but through being filled with the Spirit, we have new fellowship and transformed relationships.

  • We're here to come alongside you as you disciple your children!

Here is one resource that might be helpful to you this week:

This article from Summit Ministries “Your Identity in God’s Story” is really helpful for navigating one of the biggest questions your students have. In a culture that often separates identity from God, this piece helps you understand the messages your kids are hearing regarding sexuality and identity, and gives you a clear, biblical framework for responding. It also equips you to have thoughtful, grace-filled conversations; not just reacting to culture, but proactively discipling your student in truth and love.

The Haven team hopes and prays that this helps you as you disciple your students. Remember, we are here for you and your kids. Please feel free to reach out if you're facing any challenges.

High School Game Night 🎲

High schoolers are invited to join for a fun night of games, laughter, and fellowship on Friday, April 24, from 6:30–9:30 PM! The Rivera family has graciously opened their home to host a game night for high school students, and it will be a wonderful opportunity to spend time together and build community.

Dinner will be provided (burgers included)!
When registering, please plan to bring a snack to share, like chips, a dessert, or a fruit platter.

Please note that this gathering is being privately hosted by the Rivera family and is not an official Haven-sponsored event. Their address will be sent in your confirmation email after signing up.

We would love for students to invite a friend and join us for a great evening together!

Youth Ministry Vision Meeting (Parents + Students)

April 26 | 12:00–1:30 PM (After Service in Zeigler Hall)

Parents and students (grades 6–12) are invited to join us for a special meeting as we look ahead to the future of our youth ministry.

During this time, we’ll share the vision for the ministry—our desire to see students grow in Christ, by His Word, and for His glory. We’ll also discuss upcoming opportunities, including potential missions trips, service projects, and fellowship events.

Additionally, we’ll explore the possibility of adding a regular (potentially weekly) gathering for high school students focused on dinner, community, and intentional fellowship.

Lunch will be provided (Chicken Kitchen), so please register to help us plan accordingly.
(Childcare available for little ones at Joyland)

This will be an important time for alignment, input, and encouragement as we seek to build a Christ-centered ministry together. We hope you can join us!

  • FAQs and important forms

Breakfast will be provided, so come hungry and ready to get all the information you need as we prepare for an amazing week at Edge!

We’re so excited for what the Lord has in store for our students this summer and would love for you to join us.
